- we have only record of this word, in the collection from Arrito/Snell - an important source because it was recorded well before the mission period, but it has several errors.- this is not the only word recorded for sun.- arida could be an alternative word with the same meaning, or possibly Snell misunderstood. He often seems to omit the g at the starts of words. Arida might have been confused with garridja, from the phrase dhindu garridja the sun is rising.
