However, some records list Nhandhu-waru, which seems to mean kangaroo urine (indicating the presence of many kangaroos). Nhandhu-wirra (from related language records) may also be possible, which would mean kangaroo scrub.- related languages include Kaurna, Nukunu and Ngadjuri.

there are two words recorded for Arm. This word as shared with related languages indicates that it might originally have meant something slightly different -perhaps shoulder joint.

we have only one record of this word, in the collection from Arrito/Snell. This is an important source because it was recorded well before the mission period, but it has several errors, so the word may not be quite correct.

- there are two words recorded for egg.- probably this word refers to the liquid contents of the egg - as suggested by Egginton/Tindales translation egg yolk.- this idea is supported also by the use of ngaru in the old Nharangga word ngamiru (=ngammi-ngaru) breastmilk, which also emphasises the liquid contents of the egg (though in this case apparently the white, not the yolk).
