Munda-mundara
- this word does not appear in the Nharangga wordlists, but a general history of the area (source unknown) claims that it comes from the Aboriginal name for the spring.- the name Moonta is said to be derived from this word.- Eglinton 1986 suggests a literal meaning of land of impenetrable scrub. This does not match the words in Nharangga sources. It could be a description of the place, rather than the literal meaning of the word.
mundha
although this word is only found in recent sources for Nharangga, it is clearly an old word in related languages, so it may have been in old Nharangga as well.
mundhana
from mundha belly.
mundha wardli
- this word was created on the basis of older words for types of wardli (building or room), such as guna wardli.
munnadu
various lists for the birth order terms all disagree, and it is not possible to be certain what the original order was. From these conflicting lists, the Nharangga Language Workshop developed a single consistent set for contemporary use, with this word placed as fourth child, as in Kuhns list.
